Anue Systems and Network Protocol Specialists to Offer “Eye on Security” Monitoring Optimization Certification
Three part training and certification on filtering, data aggregation, and security monitoring best practices
AUSTIN, TX USA; December 3, 2009.
Anue Systems, the leader in network visibility solutions, has partnered with Mike Pennacchi, President of Network Protocol Specialists of Seattle, WA to offer the “Eye on Security” Monitoring Optimization Certification.
The three-part series will offer practical, hands-on instruction from Mr. Pennacchi in key security monitoring activities including advanced filtering techniques, data aggregation to extend monitoring tool capabilities, and best practices for securing access to critical network traffic. Upon the culmination of the three webinar-based sessions in February, attendees will have an opportunity to earn an official certification in Security Monitoring Optimization by passing a short test based on the subject matter of the series.

Mike Pennacchi is one of the world's leading experts on pinpointing the causes of problems on networks, and he is a well-known trainer and expert in monitoring and diagnostic techniques. Most recently, he held a one-day workshop at Interop (New York) 2009, focused on using open source tools for troubleshooting.
